Before we get down to the details of registration, we have a Call to Serve.

We are in need of Volunteers. Bear Creek Pony baseball is non-profit organization. Our Coaches and staff are all volunteers from your own communities. Without volunteers, this league will be shut down. This isn't just about baseball, it's also an opportunity to teach your children about serving their community and how each of us is responsible in maintaining our village.

What do we need?

- Head Coaches (one free player registration for this position, refund will be given upon completion of season)

- Assistant Coaches

- Concession stand Volunteers, Director and Assistant Director

- A League President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Fundraising Chair

Please contact us if you can commit any amount of time to: our concession stand, as a coach, or if you would like to join as a board member.

With all that said - on to Baseball.

First things first - safety

The safety of our players will always be TOP priority, we will follow all guidelines set by the county. At this time, we do not know what guidelines will be in place at the start of Spring 2021 season. Masks, Seating,'s all up in the air for the time being - we will share more information on this in January.

Next, Registration

PRACTICES - - are based on our Volunteer Coaches personal availability, they normally are 2 weekdays per week, approx 2 hours long on either Mon, Thu or Fri . Practices start between 6:00pm and 7:00pm, and end by 9pm.

GAMES -- are played on our fields every Saturday (apprx 12 games), with the exception of one weekend where each team will play a tournament offsite (location TBD). There is a chance there will be some Wednesday night games - this will be determined based on the amount of players who register. If there are Wednesday games, they will start at 6:30 and end by 8:30 depending on age group.

TRYOUTS --  all players should attend tryouts.

  • Players should come ready to play baseball. If they don't have a glove, cleats, or bat yet, that's fine.
  • Coaches will be in contact with players a few days AFTER tryouts.

NEW!! Concession Stand Comittment -- Parents will be required to complete two - 2 hour shifts at our concession stand. This is common practice among youth baseball leagues - the money raised at our concession stand will help pay for OFFICAL UMPIRES. Many other youth league games are officiated by parents, family members, teens, etc...Bear Creek is one the of the FEW leagues who provide our players with professional umpires and we want to keep it that way!! We have chosen to implement a Buy-out Program in which parents can choose to buy out or, essentially not work their concession shifts. The buy-out amount will be $50. If a parent does not full fill their volunteer hours, their Childs team will receive a forfeit.

REFUNDS -- Full Refunds will be processed only if season does not start and will not include processing fee (approx. $6 per player). If you cancel after January 4th, uniform fee will be deducted. As stated in our Parental Consent and Agreement form - if the season starts and one game is played, there will be absolutely no refunds. Please note, this is a common policy across many youth leagues. (copies of registration contract available at concession stand and available on online Registration Form)
